Yippee! We sure wish we were there to help welcome you all home (but since we live on the other coast, not likely that we can get there in time). What a huge relief. I bet being in her own bed/rrom/house is going to make Mady much stronger for the next leg of the journey. Can't wait until we can plan a group vacation - I just read in the paper that Disney is completely revamping California Adventure. I guess Scotty is guaranteed a job, and we'll all have to check it out! Sounds like a reason for a California vacation!!
Much love to all-

It is SO awesome that you're home. You're an outpatient now. And outpatients are SO in right now.

I was wondering why the sun came back -
and now I know
Those ruby red slippers are beginning to show
what you already knew
That the real recuperation will take place in a place familiar and warm
Away from prying needles and nosy nurses
The bright lights of Ellison can shine for someone else tomorrow
The staff will all wonder where you went and shower their never ending ministrations on some other needy soul.
Imagine 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep - it seems as foreign as the Cleveland Indians winning the World Series !!!!

Okay it ain't Haiku - but on such a day who really cares ?

Congratulations,

Bruce & Juliet & Lucas & Maddie & Tess & Rose (the hermit crab since we don't have a dog).
