Friday, November 2, 2007 - Mary-Jo called this morning to let us know the results of Mady's blood draw yesterday. A whopping 6200 white blood cell count with 74% neutrophils. Those numbers seemed too high, but Mary-Jo assured us that they tell a good tale of Mady's bone marrow recovery. Her HCT (hematocrit) is stable, so no blood transfusions are required this week. Knowing that her counts will start to drop next week, we are planning a busy weekend. Love to all. ca.

that makes my weekend !!
have a fun time guys!
Dear Madysparents -
Wow dear friends - to travel on your journey all in one night is overwhelming and awe-inspiring. I am struck by a)the love in your family and b)the advance of medicine. Thank you for letting us now be part of your journey. We have been with in you all in spirit and prayers and now can be part of your days. I am so proud and humbled by you, Chris. Take good care of yourself when you can. Take it from one who knows - if you fall apart, so will everyone else! Carve that time and it will keep you strong through the hard days. Trey, only you could get get your daughter in trouble while hospitalized! What a joyous tromp through the Commons you had. Thank you for being the amazing dad and husband you are. Think so much about Julia - this is such a period of growth and pain for her. You are doing a great job of balancing it all, you guys. Give dearest Mady a special hug from us here on Bainbridge. Haly and I have determined to get and wear our "Cancer Sucks" bracelets until she is cancer free. (They might look as good a our rope bracelets from summers past by the time all is said and done!) We have posted in our kitchen the photo you took of our three girls on the ferry last summer - it keeps us smiling! Love, Sarah
Oh Happy Day! Words cannot express how happy we are Re: this great news! And those here in Florida who have been, and continue to send good wishes and prayers are elated, too! XXXXOOOOGP&E
